The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C08A is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF300C08A is an AirTAC G-series compressed air filter - filtration only, no regulator and no lubricator. It is a size 300 body with a 1/4 in PT (code 08) port, the standard 40 um element and the A automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without manual bleeding, so the unit suits points that are not drained by hand every shift. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The same configuration is available with the differential-pressure drain (blank code) or manual drain (M), with the 5 um W element, in sizes 200/300/400/600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with or without bracket (J). Thread is PT as standard and G (BSPP) or NPT can be ordered as catalogue options. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm sizing and the datasheet on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Keeps water out of the core-pull and ejector air circuits on an injection molding press, with the automatic drain handling condensate through multi-shift running.
Feeds a filtered purge to instrument enclosures in a water-treatment laboratory, where the automatic drain removes condensate without operator attention.
Installed at the take-offs around a compressor room so each drop gets its own water and particulate filter before hand regulation and hose reels.
Pick the automatic A drain when the filter sits where nobody regularly walks past - rooftop drops, enclosed cells, unattended shifts - versus the default differential-pressure drain or a manual M drain you bleed yourself. Sizes step 200 (1/8-1/4 in), 300 (3/8-1/2 in), 400 (1/2-3/4 in), 600 (1 in); this 1/4 in PT size 300 unit is the everyday machine-drop choice. The 40 um element is standard and 5 um is the W option. Flow is published only as curves, so send us your demand and we will confirm the fit against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
Flow for this filter is published as pressure-drop curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the correct size and share the datasheet figures on request.
The differential-pressure drain is the default and responds to the pressure drop building across the element, while the A automatic drain on this model empties the bowl on its own, which is why it is chosen for unattended locations. Both use the same PC bowl on the size 300 body; ask us if you need help matching the drain type to your shift pattern.
