The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C08AJ is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF300C08AJ is an AirTAC G-series compressed air filter - filtration only, with no regulator and no lubricator. It is a size 300 body with a 1/4 in PT (code 08) port, the standard 40 um element and the A automatic drain that expels condensate from the polycarbonate bowl on its own. The trailing J is the AirTAC code for no mounting bracket, so the body mounts directly on the line or to customer-supplied hardware. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The family around it offers sizes 200/300/400/600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, 40 um or 5 um elements, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and the bracket-included version when the J suffix is omitted; the size 600 bowl is aluminium alloy while this size 300 bowl is PC. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm sizing and the datasheet on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filters the compressed air feeding gripper valves in a robotic spot-welding cell, mounted tight to the cell air drop without a bracket in the way.
Cleans the air driving the pusher and clamp valves on a case packing conveyor, with the automatic drain coping with condensate between cycles.
Serves the air drops in a truck fleet maintenance bay, where the automatic drain handles intermittent use and the bracketless body fits directly on the drop pipe.
Choose this J version when you mount the filter straight onto pipe or your own plate, and order the version without the J when you want the bracket included. Drain choices are automatic (fitted here), differential-pressure (default) and manual (M); the 40 um element is standard with 5 um as the W option. Sizes step 200 (1/8-1/4 in), 300 (3/8-1/2 in), 400 (1/2-3/4 in), 600 (1 in). Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT to order. Because flow is published only as curves, not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as pressure-drop curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your working pressure and flow demand and we will confirm the sizing and provide the datasheet on request.
J is the AirTAC code for no mounting bracket. Everything else is identical to GF300C08A - 1/4 in PT port, 40 um element, automatic drain, PC bowl and 1.0 MPa maximum inlet pressure. Order the plain-suffix version if you want the bracket included; we confirm the datasheet for either on request.
