The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C08J is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF300C08J is a genuine AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air. It removes water and particulate only - there is no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This configuration is a size 300 unit with a 1/4 inch PT port, the standard 40 um filter element, the default differential-pressure drain, and no mounting bracket (J). Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
The 300 frame carries a PC (polycarbonate) bowl. In the GF family you can specify sizes 200 to 600, ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, the finer 5 um element, automatic or manual draining in place of the differential-pressure default, a bracket, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads instead of PT. AirTAC publishes filter capacity as flow curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and other datasheet numbers on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Size 300 with a 1/4 inch PT port covers a broad mid-range of machine supply points; step to size 400 or 600 for larger ports and heavier demand, or to size 200 for compact duty. The 40 um element is the standard grade for coarse protection - choose the W option for a 5 um element where finer filtration matters. This unit uses the default differential-pressure drain; automatic (A) and manual (M) drains can be ordered in the same size, and manual-drain units have a lower maximum inlet pressure. PT is the standard thread with G (BSPP) and NPT as options, and the J code means no bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes GF300 capacity as flow curves against pressure, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Give us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm sizing and the datasheet figures on request.
This model uses the default differential-pressure drain. The same filter can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M); note that manual-drain GF units have a lower maximum inlet pressure of 0.9 MPa, so check the code before ordering.
