The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C08MJ is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF300C08MJ is a genuine AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air only. It removes water and particulate - no regulation, no lubrication. This 300-size unit has a 1/4" PT port, a 40 um standard filter element and a manual drain for operator-timed blowdown of the bowl, which is polycarbonate on this size. The J suffix means this version is supplied without a mounting bracket, so it is intended for panels or manifolds where you provide your own fixing. Manual-drain GF units work at an inlet pressure of 0-0.9 MPa (0-130 psi).
The GF300 series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, ports from 1/8" to 1", differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, an optional 5 um element (W) and optional G (BSPP) or NPT threads; the standard version includes a bracket. Flow for the G series appears only as curves in the catalogue - we confirm datasheet figures and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Inside a machine's electrical-pneumatic control cabinet, the bracketless GF300C08MJ bolts directly to a custom subplate beside the valve bank, filtering the 1/4" supply branch that feeds pilot valves and air-assisted relays.
On a carton-forming packaging machine, a dedicated filtered take-off keeps dust and moisture out of the small-bore air circuit that operates reject flaps and counting sensors, with the bowl blown down at each changeover.
Machine builders use the bracketless GF300C08MJ as a compact filter point on a shared air manifold, threading it into a 1/4" PT outlet so each downstream zone gets particle- and water-free air without extra mounting hardware.
Match the size to your line - 200/300/400/600 - with the port following; this unit is 300 size with a 1/4" PT connection. The manual drain suits lines that are drained on a schedule; choose A (automatic) or leave the drain code off for the differential-pressure default where that does not fit. The 40 um element is standard; add W for 5 um filtration. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT as orderable options. The J suffix deletes the mounting bracket - pick the version with the bracket if you are wall- or frame-mounting.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated value, so ask us to confirm sizing from the datasheet against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC gives G-series flow performance as curves over the pressure range, not as one rated flow figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and required demand and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet on request before you order.
J means this GF300C08MJ is supplied without a mounting bracket - it is meant for panel or manifold mounting where you make your own fixing. If you need to fasten the unit to a frame or wall, the same filter without the J suffix comes with the bracket included as standard.
