The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C15J is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF series is a straight air filter: it removes water and particulate from compressed air only - no pressure regulation and no lubrication. The GF300C15J is a size 300 unit with a 1/2 inch PT port, the standard 40 um element, and the default differential-pressure drain, which discharges condensate when the pressure drop across the element rises. The J option means the mounting bracket is not supplied. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, and the size 300 bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G-series line, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed in the supply line to a pneumatic workshop press, this filter catches water and pipe debris before the main directional valve. The differential-pressure drain responds to element loading, so condensate is discharged when the filter actually needs it during press cycles.
Fitted upstream of the valve terminal on a cartoning or wrapping machine, the standard 40 um element shields solenoid valves from particles and moisture. The bracketless J version suits machines where the filter is fixed to existing frame hardware inside the cabinet or guard.
Ahead of a sandblasting cabinet's foot pedal and metering valve, this filter removes condensed water that would clog abrasive media. The 1/2 inch PT port matches common blast-cabinet supply lines and the clear PC bowl lets the operator spot accumulated water at a glance.
Size the unit by port and demand: this is the 1/2 inch PT version of the size-300 body, with smaller 1/4 and 3/8 inch ports on the same size and larger 3/4 and 1 inch ports on sizes 400 and 600. The standard 40 um element covers general protection duties; the 5 um W option is available on other GF300 codes for finer air. The default differential-pressure drain reacts to element loading rather than a timer, with automatic and manual drain codes available if you prefer. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable catalogue options, and if you need a bracket, order a code without the J suffix.
Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so send us your application's consumption and we will confirm the datasheet sizing before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
Not as a single number: AirTAC publishes GF-series flow as performance curves, not one rated figure. Tell us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the relevant datasheet curve and correct size for your application on request.
The differential-pressure drain is the default: it discharges condensate when the pressure drop across the loaded element rises, so draining tracks actual filter duty. The automatic drain ejects water as it collects regardless of loading, and the manual drain is opened by hand. All three drain types exist across the GF300 code list, so you can switch by ordering the matching suffix.
