The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C15W is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF series is a compressed-air filter: it removes water and particulate from the line and nothing else - there is no pressure regulation and no lubrication in this unit. This GF300C15W is built in size 300 with 1/2in PT ports and carries the W-coded 5 micron element, one step finer than the standard 40 micron grade. Drainage is the family's differential-pressure drain (the default), the polycarbonate bowl is standard at this size, the maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part distributed for the US market. The G-series filter line runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8in to 1in, a choice of PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and 40 or 5 micron elements. AirTAC publishes filter flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering the supply air ahead of a directional control valve manifold on an automated assembly line, so the 5 micron element takes fine particle load off the valve spools and seats before it can settle there.
Cleaning the compressed air feeding tool-change cylinders and clamping circuits on a CNC machining centre, with the filter bowl catching condensed water carried over from the shop distribution main.
Conditioning air for pop-up diverters, stoppers and lift-and-locate units on a packaging conveyor line, draining accumulated water at the drop before it reaches the actuator cylinders.
Size 300 with 1/2in PT ports suits 1/2in branch lines; step up to size 400 or 600 for larger pipework and higher flow capacity, or down to size 200 for smaller lines. Choose the 5 micron W element when downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer protection than the standard 40 micron grade. Drain choices are the differential-pressure default, the automatic drain (A suffix) or the manual drain (M suffix); threads can be ordered as PT (standard), G or NPT, and a mounting bracket is included unless a no-bracket variant is specified. Because flow is published as curves rather than one rated number, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and required flow and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
W is the filter grade code: it selects the 5 micron element instead of the standard 40 micron grade, both available in the GF family. The unit also accepts three drain variants on the same size 300 body: differential-pressure (default), automatic (A) and manual (M).
