The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF400C10AW is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF400C10AW is an AirTAC G-series air filter in the 400 size with a 3/8 in. PT threaded port. It is filtration only - water and particulate removal, with no regulation and no lubrication. The automatic drain (A) discharges condensate from the polycarbonate bowl on its own, the W suffix selects the finer 5 um element over the standard 40 um, and with no bracket code in this model the mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family is offered in sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in. to 1 in., a choice of default differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and 40 um standard or 5 um optional filtration. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than one rated figure, so we confirm sizing and the datasheet on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |

| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Bracket-mounted filtration at a workshop air drop, giving the 5 um element a fixed home right where tools connect.
Filtering the air that drives cylinders and actuators on an engineering test bench, where fine particles are unwelcome.
Conditioning the air supply to sorting and diverting actuators along a packaging conveyor line.
This configuration pairs the 5 um fine element (W) and automatic drain (A) with a 400-size body on a 3/8 in. PT port, and the mounting bracket is included so the unit can be fixed at the point of use. If 40 um standard filtration is sufficient, the versions without W are the plainer choice; drain alternatives are the default differential-pressure type or a manual drain (M). Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options, and sizes 200/300/600 cover other port steps. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so send your application demand and pressure and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated flow we can state, because AirTAC publishes filter capacity as flow curves against pressure rather than one figure. Tell us your demand and working pressure and we will confirm the right size from the datasheet on request.
Yes. In the GF code the bracket position is blank on this model, which means the bracket is included; versions carrying the J suffix are the ones supplied without a bracket. The 5 um element (W) and automatic drain (A) are the other decoded choices here.
