The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF400C10M is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF400C10M is an AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air only. It removes water and particulate from the supply line - it does not regulate pressure and does not lubricate. This unit is the 400 size with a PT 3/8in port, the standard 40 um filter element, a manual drain that an operator opens to dump collected condensate, and the mounting bracket included. The polycarbonate bowl on the 400 size makes the water level easy to check.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G filter family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8in to 1in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, and PT, G or NPT thread options. With the manual drain fitted, the inlet working pressure range is 0 to 0.9 MPa (0 to 130 psi); working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the wall-mounted air drops of a maintenance workshop, this filter with bracket and manual drain lets technicians water out the bowl at shift start, keeping impact wrenches and air ratchets supplied with clean, dry air.
Mounted at the supply end of retractable hose reels in a commercial truck service bay, the 40 um element removes rust and pipe scale from the main before air reaches tyre chucks and impact guns, with the manual drain emptied between shifts.
Fitted on the feeder line to nailers and staplers in a woodworking shop, the GF400C10M keeps sawdust-laden, wet plant air from gumming tool O-rings, with the bracket securing the body to the supply framing.
Match the G size (200/300/400/600) to the port and flow path your line needs - here the 400 size gives a 3/8in PT connection. Pick a manual drain like this M version where an operator is on hand for routine draining, or specify automatic or differential-pressure drain for unattended lines. The standard 40 um element suits general plant air; choose the 5 um W option for finer protection. The bracket is included on this version, and PT is the standard thread with G and NPT available as catalogue options.
Flow for the G filters is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and line conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as performance curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not quote one figure here. Send us your operating pressure and demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and whether the 400 size is right for your application on request.
The M option means an operator opens the drain to expel collected water, rather than the bowl discharging automatically. With the manual drain fitted, the inlet working pressure range for this filter is 0 to 0.9 MPa (0 to 130 psi). If the line runs unattended, ask us about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same 400 size.
