The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF400C10MW is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF400C10MW is an AirTAC G-series air filter: it removes water and particulate from compressed air only - it does not regulate pressure and it does not lubricate. This 400-size unit has a 3/8 in PT port, a fine 5 um element (the tighter of the two catalogue grades), a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and a mounting bracket is included. Working temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing); with the manual drain the inlet pressure range is 0-0.9 MPa.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF filter family runs in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and PT as the standard thread with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options. AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for the machine's clamping and air-blow circuits, where the 5 um element keeps fine particulate out of downstream valves and the manual drain is emptied at shift checks.
Cleaning the shop-air feed to a QA or R&D test bench where the finer 5 um grade protects sensitive instruments and a manual drain suits intermittent, attended use.
A workshop drop filter ahead of impact wrenches, grinders and couplings, catching water and pipe scale before it reaches the tools and hoses.
Step up or down through sizes 200/300/400/600 to match the port and flow your line needs - 400 with a 3/8 in PT port suits mid-size machine supplies. Choose the drain to match servicing: manual (this code, with its 0-0.9 MPa inlet range), automatic, or the default differential-pressure type. Pick the 5 um (W) grade when downstream equipment needs finer air than the standard 40 um element. Thread is PT as standard; G and NPT are orderable options, and a bracket is included here. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter capacity as flow curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Request the datasheet and we will confirm the flow curve and check this 3/8 in, 400-size unit against your application before you order.
The M in this code means the polycarbonate bowl has a manual drain: someone drains it at service intervals, and the inlet pressure range is 0-0.9 MPa. If the unit sits in a hard-to-reach spot or runs unattended, ask instead for the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain version of the same filter.
