The AirTAC Airtac GFR Filter Regulator GFR300C15F1W is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
GFR300C15F1W is an AirTAC GFR300-series filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus downstream pressure regulation in one body with a single polycarbonate bowl. This 1/2 in PT configuration specifies the fine 5 um filter element (W) instead of the standard 40 um, along with a differential-pressure drain and the embedded square pressure gauge on an MPa scale. It handles compressed air only.
This is a genuine AirTAC part, rated for up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet, -5 to 70 C non-freezing, with a standard regulation range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes in 1/8 to 1 in ports, with 40 um or 5 um elements, differential, automatic or manual drains, an optional round external gauge, a reverse-valve option, and G or NPT thread options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds laboratory test benches and pneumatic measurement rigs where finer 5 um filtration protects instruments on the regulated line.
Conditions air for blow-off and air knife nozzles on production lines, supplying clean regulated air at a set working pressure.
Supplies pneumatic dancers, capstans and air wipes on wire drawing and cable extrusion lines that need clean, regulated air.
Size 300 with a 1/2 in PT port is the larger mid-range step; step up to 400/600 for heavier demand or down to 200 for compact circuits. The W code selects the 5 um element - the finer option over the standard 40 um, worth specifying for sensitive downstream devices but at the cost of faster element loading in dirty air. The differential-pressure drain discharges condensate on a pressure difference; automatic (A) gives continuous unattended drainage and manual (M) suits dry air with the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa regulation range. The F1 suffix sets the embedded square gauge on MPa scale; psi or bar scales are available. G (BSPP) and NPT threads are order options, and the bracket is included by default. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as performance curves, not as a single rated figure, so no rated flow number is stated here. Provide your inlet pressure and required flow and we will confirm the sizing and send the datasheet on request.
Choose the W grade when downstream equipment - instruments, precision valves, sensitive actuators - benefits from finer particulate removal; the blank position gives the standard 40 um element. Finer filtration loads faster in dirty air, so pair it with the appropriate drain type (blank differential, A automatic or M manual) for your air quality.
