The AirTAC Airtac GFR Filter Regulator GFR300C15JF1W is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C15JF1W is an AirTAC G-series filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus pressure regulation in one body, with no lubricator. This configuration takes a 1/2 in PT port at size 300 and swaps the standard 40 um element for the finer 5 um (W) grade, suited to air-quality-sensitive duties. It drains condensate by differential pressure, carries the embedded square gauge reading MPa, and has no mounting bracket (J code). With this drain type the regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the PC bowl is rated for -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) compressed air.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, plus choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, PT/G/NPT threads and brackets. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding spray guns in a furniture finishing booth, where the 5 um element helps keep fine contamination out of the finish and the regulator pins the gun pressure.
Conditioning supply air to pneumatic portioners and sample-handling actuators on an analytical instrument bench, with finer filtration protecting small orifices.
Supplying air to pick-and-place vacuum ejectors in an optics assembly cell, where cleaner air and a steady setpoint support gentle, repeatable handling.
Size 300 with a 1/2 in port serves mid-range circuits; step to 400/600 or down to 200 for the flow your application needs - flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing before ordering. The 5 um (W) element is the selection point here: choose it for paint, instrumentation and pneumatic sensor air, and stay with the standard 40 um for general actuator protection. This unit uses the default differential-pressure drain with a 0.15-0.9 MPa adjustment band; automatic or manual-drain variants are available if you need hands-off drainage or the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa band. The F1 gauge is the embedded square type reading MPa, with psi/bar scales and an external round gauge as alternatives. PT is the standard thread with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options, and no bracket is included (J code).
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote one here. Tell us your supply pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The W code fits a 5 um element for finer particle capture, suited to painting, instrumentation and sensor air. The standard 40 um grade is right for general cylinder and valve protection and loads the element less - pick the grade that matches the dirtiest duty your downstream equipment tolerates.
