The AirTAC Airtac GFR Filter Regulator GFR300C15JN is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C15JN is an AirTAC G-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at a set point. This build is the 300 size with a 1/2 in PT (Rc) port, the standard differential-pressure drain and the standard 40 um element, supplied without a gauge (N) and without a mounting bracket (J). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and with the differential-pressure drain the regulator set-point range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series filter regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, offered with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 40 um standard or 5 um fine element, gauge or no-gauge builds and G or NPT thread variants to order; the 300 size carries a PC (polycarbonate) bowl and works from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the 1/2 in branch feeds that supply solenoid valve manifolds, core-pull and ejector cylinders on an injection moulding press.
Filtering and regulating the supply to gripper and clamp cylinders in a robotic palletising cell, set once at the cell's required working pressure.
A workhorse filter-regulator for wall-mounted air drops around a plant floor, feeding hand tools, blow guns and small actuators at a fixed set pressure.
At 1/2 in on the 300 body, this unit targets branch lines feeding several valve manifolds or a larger single consumer; move to 400 or 600 for larger ports, or 200/08 for light branches. The differential-pressure drain is the default here, with automatic (A) and manual (M) drains orderable. This build keeps the standard 40 um element, omits the gauge (N) and omits the mounting bracket (J), keeping the specification minimal. PT thread is standard and G or NPT variants are catalogue options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against the application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the G-series as pressure-drop curves, not a single rated figure, so there is no number to quote here. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
This code carries the default differential-pressure drain. The family also offers an automatic drain (A suffix) and a manual drain (M suffix). Note the regulator set-point range differs: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with the differential-pressure or automatic drain versus 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with the manual drain.
