The AirTAC Airtac GFR Filter Regulator GFR300C15MJC1W is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C15MJC1W is an AirTAC G-series filter regulator specified with the 5 um filter element (W). It removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. Sized 300 with PT1/2 ports, it drains by hand through the manual drain and includes an external round gauge with an MPa scale; the J code means no bracket is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); regulation range with the manual drain is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The 300-size bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in. to 1 in., and options include differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar, PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, brackets and a reverse-valve variant. Flow is published as curves rather than one rated figure, so we confirm flow and datasheet details for your process on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds transducers, pilot valves and reference instruments on a test bench where cleaner-than-standard air matters, with the MPa gauge letting technicians log the exact regulated pressure.
Regulates supply to air tables and air-bearing pads used to float glass and sheet stock in a handling station, where the 5 um element helps keep the fine orifices clear.
Feeds the positioner and pilot stage of a control valve on a process skid, with the 5 um element guarding the small internal passages and the dial gauge confirming set pressure during calibration.
Pick the W (5 um) element when the equipment downstream is sensitive to finer contamination - instrumentation, pilot valves, spray equipment - and accept that the element needs watching in heavily loaded air. Manual drain suits stations that are visited daily; use an automatic-drain variant for unattended drops. The round MPa gauge gives a clear plant-standard readout, and psi or bar scales can be ordered. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the J build mounts in-line without the bracket. Sizing against flow matters more on the finer element - if your consumption runs high for the 300 size, step to 400 or 600, and we will confirm the curve-based flow figures on request before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we will not quote one number. Give us your inlet pressure, set pressure and consumption and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curves on request.
The W (5 um) element suits points of use with finer internal passages - positioners, pilot valves, instrumentation, spraying. The standard 40 um grade is fine for general cylinders and valves. Note that regulation with this manual-drain model is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), max inlet 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the finer element should be checked more often in heavily loaded air.
