The AirTAC AirTAC GFR200C08JC1WT Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08JC1WT is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This configuration is a size 200 unit with a 1/4 in NPT thread, the 5 um filter element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), a differential-pressure drain, and a round pressure gauge with an MPa scale. The regulator is the standard type, adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and it is supplied without a mounting bracket. At this size the bowl is PC (polycarbonate), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a 40 um or 5 um element, differential-pressure, automatic or manual draining, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamping cylinders and vise actuators on a machining centre: the 5 um element helps keep shop-air moisture and particles out of the clamp circuit while the regulator holds a steady clamping pressure.
Supplying divert gates and stopper cylinders on a packaging conveyor, where filtered and regulated air keeps the small directional valves and actuators working consistently through the shift.
Conditioning air for pick-and-place modules and grippers on laboratory automation, where the 5 um grade and a stable regulated pressure suit compact, sensitive cylinders.
Choose the size by port and flow demand: size 200 with a 1/4 in NPT port suits compact point-of-use drops, while sizes 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity. This unit already carries the 5 um (W) element - select 40 um where general plant air is sufficient and 5 um where finer protection is needed. The differential-pressure drain is the catalogue default; automatic draining is the choice where the unit is hard to reach, and manual draining where you want controlled, on-demand discharge. The round MPa gauge fitted here can be specified instead as a square gauge or with psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or PT threads are order options if NPT does not match your piping. A bracket is optional and this code omits it.
Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so no number is quoted here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
The W in the code selects the 5 um element, the finer of the two grades (40 um is standard), for applications that need cleaner air. The drain is the differential-pressure type, the catalogue default, which discharges collected condensate as the pressure drop across the element rises. Automatic (A) or manual (M) draining can be ordered instead.
