The AirTAC AirTAC GFR200C08MC2 Filter Regulator 1/4 in PT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08MC2 is a size 200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has a PT1/4 (1/4 in) port with PT thread, a manual drain bowl, a 40 um standard filter element, and an external round pressure gauge with a psi scale. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain version, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR filter-regulator family, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um optional element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT thread options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted at the drop of a cartoning or wrapping machine's air line, it cleans water and debris from the shop air and holds a steady regulated pressure to the cylinders that seal and fold each cycle.
Installed ahead of a bench-mounted pneumatic clamp or small press, it filters the incoming air and lets the operator set and hold the clamping force by dialling the regulated pressure on the psi gauge.
Mounted on the bracket at an assembly workstation, it conditions the air feeding air screwdrivers and riveters, draining accumulated water manually at shift start and keeping tool pressure consistent.
Start with the size and port: the 200 size with its PT1/4 port suits lines plumbed at 1/4 in, and larger sizes (300/400/600) step up in port and flow capacity - match the size to your required flow, which we can confirm against the published curves. Choose the drain to suit access: this model has a manual drain (lowest regulator floor at 0.05-0.9 MPa / 7-130 psi), while automatic and differential-pressure drains suit unattended installations (those versions regulate 0.15-0.9 MPa / 20-130 psi). The 40 um element is standard; specify the 5 um option (code W) if finer filtration is needed. The round gauge on this unit reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options, and a bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM figure. Send us your line size and application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain bowl, which you empty by hand - it also allows the widest regulator adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). If the unit is mounted where regular draining is impractical, the same GFR200 size is available with an automatic or differential-pressure drain (those versions regulate 0.15-0.9 MPa / 20-130 psi).
