The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400C10AJC2WGK Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body. This unit, GFR400C10AJC2WGK, is the 400 size with a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a 5 um filter element (code W), an automatic drain, and a standard regulator adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The polycarbonate bowl is fitted with the automatic drain, a round external gauge with a psi scale is included, and a reverse (check) valve is fitted. No mounting bracket is supplied with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and with choices of drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order), bracket and reverse valve. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated supply to the pick-and-place cylinders and grippers on a carton packing line, with the 5 um element protecting directional valves from particulate and the automatic drain handling condensate between shifts.
Regulated air for stopper and gate actuators along a bottling conveyor, where the fitted check valve holds the downstream setting and the round psi gauge lets line staff verify the regulator setting at a glance.
Stable air to pneumatic actuators on an automated test bench, with fine 5 um filtration ahead of sensitive control valves and automatic condensate draining for rigs that run unattended.
Within GFR400 you are choosing port size against the air demand of the machine - here G3/8 (3/8 in). Step up or down a size (200/300/400/600) when the flow curve for your demand sits better on a neighbouring port. Drain type is a real choice: differential-pressure (the default), automatic (fitted here) or manual; automatic suits installations where the bowl cannot be drained on a schedule. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W, as on this unit, for finer protection of downstream components. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales - this code carries a round gauge with a psi scale. Thread is PT as the AirTAC standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; this unit is G. Code J means no mounting bracket is supplied. Flow for the G-series is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow curve and sizing from the datasheet on request.
This code carries an automatic drain, which ejects condensate from the bowl without operator attention. The same GFR400 body is also available with a manual drain or the differential-pressure default, and the regulator range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic or differential-pressure drain, 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual. Tell us how the unit will be attended and we will decode the right variant for you.
