The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400C10F2T Filter Regulator NPT3/8, Psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10F2T is a 400-size filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 3/8 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element rises, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi so the set pressure is visible at a glance. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, regulated air to the tool-changer and clamping circuits of a CNC machining centre, with the psi gauge letting setters verify set pressure at the machine.
Mounted ahead of the valve manifold on a cartoning or case-packing line, it protects directional valves from water and debris while holding a stable working pressure.
Installed at the drop ahead of spray-booth actuators and air motors on a finishing line, where the 40 um element keeps moisture and particles out of the application equipment.
Start with the port and size: the 400 body with a 3/8 in NPT port sits mid-range in the GFR line, so step up or down (200/300/400/600) according to the air demand of the circuit - flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Then pick the drain: differential-pressure (this model, automatic bleeding with no operator attention), fully automatic (A), or manual (M) where you prefer scheduled draining. Choose the filter grade - 40 um standard for general plant air, or the W option at 5 um where downstream valves and cylinders need finer protection. Select the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread - PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options to order. A bracket is included on this unit; the J code omits it.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct sizing for the 400-size, 3/8 in NPT unit before you order.
This unit drains automatically: when the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises with collected condensate, the differential-pressure drain bleeds the bowl. Choose the A code for a fully automatic drain or M for a manual drain if your maintenance routine prefers scheduled draining.
