The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400C10MC2WG Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C10MC2WG is a 400-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a G3/8 (3/8 in) port with G (BSPP) thread, a fine 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain for the bowl, and a standard regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). An external round gauge scaled in psi is fitted, and the mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and gauge options in MPa, psi or bar scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, regulated air to the tool-clamp and chuck-actuation circuits of a CNC lathe or machining centre, with 5 um filtration protecting tight-tolerance pneumatic components.
Supplies filtered, pressure-set air to the cylinders that push, divert and seal cartons on a packaging conveyor, with the round psi gauge letting line staff verify set pressure at a glance.
Conditions the air feeding gripper and vacuum-generator valves on a robotic handling cell, where the fine 5 um element helps keep small pilot valves from fouling.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow path your line needs - this 400 size takes a 3/8 in port. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this unit) for periodic draining where someone visits the machine, automatic or differential-pressure where the unit is hard to reach. Pick 40 um for general air prep or 5 um (this unit, code W) where finer particle removal matters, and select the gauge scale - MPa, psi or bar - to suit your operators. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options; this unit is specified with G thread. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 400-size, 3/8 in unit on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collects in the bowl until someone opens the drain. Choose manual where the unit is easy to reach and part of a routine check; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain where the unit is mounted in a hard-to-access position. Note that the manual-drain version also allows the widest regulator adjustment range, 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
