The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400C10MC3TK Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C10MC3TK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT 3/8 in, carries a manual drain for periodically emptying collected condensate, a 40 um filter element, a round pressure gauge reading in bar, and a reverse (check) valve fitted to hold downstream pressure. A mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) filtration, gauge and thread options, and an optional reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feed a plant-air press or clamping station with this filter regulator: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before the air reaches the cylinder valves, while the regulator holds a steady working pressure at the tool and the check valve holds the set pressure if the supply dips.
On a packaging or bottling line, use this unit at the drop to condition and regulate air for conveyor diverters, grippers and bagging actuators, with the manual drain emptied during changeover and the round bar gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.
Supply a pneumatic control valve or positioner from a clean, regulated branch: the filter keeps moisture and particulates out of the positioner, the regulator sets the instrument supply pressure, and the check valve prevents backflow through the unit.
Size and port set the air capacity: this unit is size 400 with a 3/8 in NPT port; step up or down within the GFR range if your line needs more or less air. Drain type is a real choice - manual (this unit, which also widens the regulating range to 0.05-0.9 MPa), automatic, or the differential-pressure default. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify code W for 5 um when finer particulate capture matters. For the gauge, an embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge (this unit, bar scale) is optional, with MPa, psi or bar scales. Thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. A bracket is included; code J omits it. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated number, so there is no one l/min or SCFM figure we can quote. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code means the bowl is emptied by hand rather than automatically, so an operator should drain collected condensate at sensible intervals. It also gives the widest regulating range in the series: 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) on this unit, versus 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) on automatic or differential-pressure drain versions.
