The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-25 Filter Regulator 1 in NPT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This size-600 unit is specified with a 1 in NPT port, a 5 um filtration element (the finer of the two published grades), a manual drain for the metal bowl, and a fitted round pressure gauge scaled in MPa. It is the low-pressure regulator type and comes with a reverse/check valve fitted and a mounting bracket included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options (PT standard, with G and NPT as catalogue options), drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge styles and scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C2 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Drops and cleans the main 1 in compressed air header feeding a production hall, with the 5 um element catching fine particulate before it reaches downstream valves and cylinders.
Supplies filtered, regulated air to the pneumatic cylinders and air bells on a bottling or packaging conveyor line, with the manual drain letting maintenance clear accumulated water during scheduled rounds.
Conditions the shop air feeding brake-testing rigs and tyre-caging stations in a commercial vehicle workshop, where the reverse/check valve holds upstream pressure and the metal bowl suits a hard-working installation.
Size 600 is the largest step in the GFR range and carries the 1 in port, so start there when your line volume points to a 1 in connection - then let us confirm the flow curve against your demand, since AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than one rated number. This configuration already fixes several choices: 5 um filtration (versus the 40 um standard), a manual drain (simplest to service, but note the regulation range differs from the automatic and differential-pressure drain versions), a round MPa gauge, the low-pressure regulator type, a fitted reverse/check valve, and an included bracket. If you would rather have a square embedded gauge, a psi or bar scale, an automatic or differential-pressure drain, or a PT or G thread, those are decodable options in the same family - tell us and we will quote the matching code.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curve and sizing from the datasheet before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: accumulated condensate is emptied by hand rather than automatically, which suits attended installations. The L specifies the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published in the sheet we work from, so ask us to confirm it on request alongside the rest of the datasheet.
