The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600C25MC2K Filter Regulator 1 in PT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600C25MC2K is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady. This 600-size unit has a PT1 (1 in) port in PT thread, a manual drain, a 40 um filter element, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a reverse (check) valve fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At this size the bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT threads, and a reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, pressure-stable air to spray guns and air-assisted equipment on a paint line, where water and dirt in the supply would ruin finish quality and drifting pressure would change the spray pattern.
Supplying filtered and regulated air to the pneumatic cylinders that stop, divert and index bottles on a packaging conveyor, so stroke timing stays consistent through the shift.
Providing regulated air to pneumatic clamps and workholding fixtures on a machining centre, where a set downstream pressure must hold parts firmly without over-clamping.
Choose the size and port against the air your line actually uses: 600 is the largest G-series size, here with a 1 in PT port. Drain type is a real decision - a manual drain (this unit, code M) needs someone to open it periodically, an automatic drain (code A) empties itself, and the differential-pressure drain (blank) works off the pressure drop across the element. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify W for the 5 um element where finer filtration matters. Gauges come as an embedded square type or an external round type, with MPa, psi or bar scales; this unit carries a round psi gauge. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket is included.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can honestly quote. Tell us your air demand and operating pressure and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code means the bowl drain is operated by hand: someone opens it periodically to release collected water. If you would rather not rely on an operator, GFR units can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain (blank), which is the default.
