An external stop screw shortens the extend stroke by up to 30 mm after installation, so one unit covers several stop positions on the same machine. If 402 N at 0.5 MPa leaves you underpowered, step up to the MAJ40 (628 N push at 0.5 MPa); for lighter pick-and-place work the MAJ25 already gives 245 N. Keep in mind the adjuster only shortens the extend stroke - it cannot push travel past the ordered 120 mm, and it will not lock a mid-stroke position against drift.
