Bore-to-bore: drop to MAJ25X250 (245.3 N at 0.5 MPa) for lighter duties or climb to MAJ40X250 (628.3 N) when the job outgrows 402.2 N. On a 250 mm stroke the 12 mm rod should see axial force only - put side loads on a linear guide instead.
The 40 mm stop window trims the extend end of travel; it will not lengthen the stroke past 250 mm and it does not lock the piston - on air loss the rod still settles back, so fit an external clamp where holding matters.
