Double acting throughout, it pushes 628.3 N at 0.5 MPa, which is about 64 kg of vertical lift capability, or roughly 32 kg once you plan with a 2:1 margin.
AirTAC rolls the stainless barrel, aluminium-alloy covers and stainless block into one riveted round body, so the compact package has nothing to retorque after a season in a humid plant. Downsize to a 32 mm bore (402.2 N push at 0.5 MPa) if the load is under about 240 N of real work; stay at 40 mm for gates and lifters that approach the 628.3 N rating. The stop screw sets the extend end position only - it will not hold a mid-stroke load if air is lost, so fit a locking valve where that matters. On long 250 mm strokes, keep side loads off the 16 mm rod: guide the payload externally and check rod bending before ordering. FA flange and LB foot mounts, I or Y rod knuckles, no SDB code on this adjustable version.
