A full-stroke 40 mm trim window makes the MAJ40X40-40S the most flexible short-stroke head in the 40 mm MA line: the external stop screw sets the extend travel anywhere within the ordered range. Push force is about 628 N at 0.5 MPa and 880 N at 0.7 MPa - enough for roughly 32 kg vertical lifts once a 2:1 margin is applied (628.3 N equals about 64 kgf of theoretical lift).
Fixed anti-impact bumper pads soften contact at both stroke ends; they decelerate the piston but are not adjustable air cushions - AirTAC's MACJ family is the one that adds cushioning to this concept. The rolled, riveted stainless barrel keeps the round body slim and easy to wipe down in wet areas.
