A 30 mm trim window makes this bore 40 MAJ easy to dial in: fit the cylinder, run the machine, then shorten the 400 mm extend stroke from outside the barrel with the stop screw until the part lands exactly where it should. Double acting throughout, with fixed bumper pads taking the sting out of each end position.

The same job on a bore 25 cylinder would only see 245 N at 0.5 MPa, so step down only if your load sits under roughly 150 N after margin; bore 40 is the ceiling of the MA family, and heavier pushes call for a larger series.
