The AirTAC MGD20X300S is a JIS round-body mini cylinder, double acting and double rod: a piston rod exits both the front and back covers with the same M8x1.25 male thread at each end, so the two rod ends move together. Because the rod-side area is active on both sides of the piston, the output force is equal in each direction, about 131.9 N at 0.5 MPa and 184.7 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 26.9 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The through-rod resists rotation and side load, keeps stroke-end position repeatable, and lets the rear rod end carry a stop flag or drive a second load.
Construction suits damp and washdown surroundings: a SUS304 stainless barrel with a hard-chromed carbon-steel rod, riveted covers, a two-way lubricant-storing piston seal and a fixed anti-impact bumper pad that softens each stroke end.
