The AirTAC MGD40X450S is a double acting, double rod JIS round-body mini cylinder with a 40 mm bore and 450 mm stroke. A 16 mm hard-chrome rod exits both the front and rear covers with the same M14x1.5 male thread at each end, so both rod ends travel together and deliver an equal 527.8 N at 0.5 MPa (738.9 N at 0.7 MPa) in either direction. Because both sides of the piston see the rod-side area, there is no push/pull imbalance, and the through-rod resists rotation and side load while keeping stroke-end position repeatable.
