The AirTAC TACE12X45 is a double acting, non-rotating compact cylinder built to ISO 21287: a 12 mm bore with a 45 mm stroke, a hard-anodized aluminium body and an S45C hard-chrome plated 6 mm rod. Twin guide rods on a yoke stop the tooling rotating and carry side load, so a small gripper or plate stays square without any external guide. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N; at 0.7 MPa those figures rise to 79.2 N and 59.4 N, with a theoretical maximum of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it drops into tight jigs, guarding and bench fixtures a full-length cylinder cannot reach.
