About the Airtac TACED Guided Compact Cylinder TACED80X25
A double acting, double-rod compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the TACED80X25 pushes a 20 mm rod out of BOTH covers, so the 80 mm bore delivers the same 2356.2 N at 0.5 MPa (3298.7 N at 0.7 MPa) whichever way it moves. Twin guide rods on the yoke stop the tooling rotating and carry side load, keeping a gripper or press plate square without an external guide. The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod runs on air filtered to 40 um at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), 30-500 mm/s.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight press dies and welding fixtures. For sizing: treat roughly 1414 N (about 144 kg) as the usable working force at 0.5 MPa, and expect it to lift about 120 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke shock, and the optional -S magnet enables CMSE / DMSE switches.
