About the GC200C08C2GK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination Unit G1/4

The GC200C08C2GK is an AirTAC GC-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate filter, regulator and lubricator assembled as one air-preparation set. This configuration is built for 1/4 in lines with G (BSPP) ports, carries the standard 40 um filter element with a differential-pressure drain on the filter bowl, and regulates outlet pressure across the standard 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range. A round external gauge scaled in psi is fitted, a reverse/check valve is included, and the set comes with a mounting bracket.

This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GC series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in and PT, G or NPT thread options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF200-C0 filter, GR200-C0 regulator and GL200-C0 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Where the GC200C08C2GK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination Unit G1/4 Is Used

factory

General plant air drop preparation

Feeding clean, regulated and lubricated air to a workshop air drop or manifold that supplies hand tools, cylinders and small actuators on a 1/4 in branch line.

conveyor_belt

Packaging and conveyor actuation

Conditioning the air supply for pneumatic cylinders that drive packaging heads, clamps and conveyor stoppers, where steady regulated pressure and oil mist extend seal life.

engineering

Machine-build OEM panels

Mounting a compact three-piece F.R.L. set at the air inlet of a purpose-built machine or fixture panel, giving the builder filtration, regulation and lubrication in one bracketed assembly.

Is the GC200C08C2GK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination Unit G1/4 the Right Station?

Size 200 with a 1/4 in port suits lighter-duty circuits; step up to 300/400/600 when the line or required flow grows - flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so let us confirm sizing against your demand. The 40 um standard element is right for general plant air; choose the 5 um (W) element where finer filtration is needed. The differential-pressure drain bleeds the bowl automatically as pressure drops across the element; automatic (A) or manual (M) drains are alternative orderable choices. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue options. G (BSPP) thread is specified on this unit, with PT and NPT available to order, and the bracket is included.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR200-C0 regulator with a GF200-C0 filter on that branch.

GC200C08C2GK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination Unit G1/4 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your line size and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for the GC200 against your application before you order.

The code C2 in GC200C08C2GK specifies an external round gauge scaled in psi, instead of the standard embedded square gauge; MPa and bar scales are the other orderable options. The trailing K specifies a reverse/check valve fitted on the regulator, which holds the downstream setting if upstream pressure is lost.
