About the GC300C15ALC2G AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/2

The GC300C15ALC2G is a three-piece AirTAC GC combination that filters, regulates and lubricates compressed air in one assembly: a 40 um filter with automatic drain, a low-pressure regulator and an oil-mist lubricator, sized for a G1/2 (1/2 in) port. On this 300 size the filter bowl is polycarbonate, and the automatic drain removes condensate without manual attention. A round psi gauge is fitted and a mounting bracket is included, so the set can be wall or panel mounted at the point of use.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC series spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including a 5 um filter element (code W), G or NPT threads, and MPa, psi or bar gauge scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF300-C1 filter, GR300-C1 regulator and GL300-C1 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Where the GC300C15ALC2G AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/2 Is Used

factory

Automotive assembly line

Feeding filtered, regulated and lubricated air to pneumatic nutrunners, clamps and lift-assist cylinders along a body shop line, with the automatic drain handling condensate through humid shifts.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line cylinders

Supplying carton-forming, case-packing and labelling cylinders on a packaging conveyor, where the lubricator keeps the air misted for high-cycle duty and the regulator holds a stable setting.

build

Pneumatic tool stations

Serving bench drops in a maintenance workshop that run impact wrenches, grinders and riveters, giving each station one point where air is cleaned, regulated and oiled before the hose.

Is the GC300C15ALC2G AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/2 the Right Station?

Pick the size by the port and air demand of your line: this 300 unit carries a G1/2 thread, and larger sizes in the series move more air. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify code W for 5 um filtration where finer protection is wanted. This configuration pairs an automatic drain with a low-pressure regulator and a round psi gauge; an embedded square gauge and MPa or bar scales are available as alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR300-C1 regulator with a GF300-C1 filter on that branch.

GC300C15ALC2G AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/2 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GC series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote honestly. Tell us your line pressure and the demand of your downstream equipment and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.

The A in the code means the filter bowl drains condensate by itself as it collects, so no one has to bleed the bowl manually. Manual-drain and differential-pressure-drain versions are also available in the series if your installation prefers a different arrangement.
