The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, in one compact body. This configuration has 1/4 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, a round pressure gauge scaled in MPa, and no mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is offered in four sizes (200, 300, 400 and 600) with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, three drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale options, and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the clamping cylinders on a pneumatic stamping press, where the 5 um element protects the directional valve and the MPa gauge lets operators set and verify clamp pressure.
Point-of-use conditioning for carton sealers and case packers on a packaging conveyor, combining water and particle removal with a stable set pressure for the sealing and pusher cylinders.
Conditioning the air at individual drops in a maintenance shop so impact wrenches, ratchets and air hammers receive dry, filtered supply at a pressure the technician sets and reads locally.
Size and port step up together: the 200 size with 1/4 in NPT ports suits lighter-duty lines, while 300, 400 and 600 carry progressively more flow - match the size to your air demand rather than the port alone. Choose the drain: manual (as fitted here, with the widest 0.05-0.9 MPa adjustment), automatic, or the differential-pressure default (auto and differential versions adjust 0.15-0.9 MPa / 20-130 psi). Filtration is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W, as on this unit. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round MPa gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options, and a bracket can be specified. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curves and full datasheet figures for the GFR200-08 on request.
A manual drain means an operator opens the drain to release collected water, and on this configuration it also gives the widest regulation range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). The GFR series is also available with automatic or differential-pressure drains; note that the automatic and differential-pressure versions adjust from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
