The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT1/4, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built for 1/4 in NPT ports, carries the standard 40 um filter element, drains condensate by differential pressure, and is the low-pressure type for circuits that run below standard supply pressure. An embedded square gauge on a bar scale is fitted, and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR series, which spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in and PT, G or NPT thread options. Filter grade, drain type, gauge style and scale are all orderable choices. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air feeding clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture, where the clamping circuit is held below standard supply pressure and clean air protects the clamp seals.
Conditioned air for small cylinders and diverters on a cartoning or bagging machine, with the filter-regulator dropping line pressure to the level the actuators were designed for.
Clean, regulated air to pick-and-place modules and test stations on a laboratory bench, where the bar-scale gauge gives a direct local readout of the set pressure.
Step through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) to match your port and flow demand; this 200 size takes a 1/4 in NPT port. Choose the 40 um standard element or the 5 um W option where finer filtration is needed. Drain types are differential-pressure (this unit), automatic (A) or manual (M). The gauge here is the embedded square type on a bar scale; an external round gauge on MPa, psi or bar is an orderable alternative. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also orderable. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number. Tell us your working pressure and required flow and we will confirm the datasheet curve figures for this 1/4 in NPT unit on request before you order.
The L code marks the low-pressure regulator variant, intended for circuits that operate below standard supply pressure. AirTAC does not publish a numeric adjustment range for this variant in our datasheet extract, so confirm the set point you need with us. This unit also carries the standard 40 um element, a differential-pressure drain, and an embedded square gauge on a bar scale.
