The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT1/4, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08MC1TK is a size-200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has 1/4 in NPT ports, a 40 um standard filtration grade, a manual drain bowl, a round pressure gauge reading in MPa, and a built-in reverse (check) valve that holds the downstream setting if upstream supply is lost. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl on this size is polycarbonate, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options (PT standard, G and NPT to order), drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), a 5 um filter grade option, gauge styles and scales, and an optional reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use clean, dry air and a stable pressure setting for the cylinders and actuators on a carton-forming or wrapping machine, with the check valve holding the setting through brief supply dips.
Filtered, regulated air for the pop-up diverters, stoppers and pusher cylinders along a sorting or assembly conveyor, protected at 40 um from line rust and scale.
A bench or ceiling air drop feeding impact wrenches, ratchets and blow guns, where the manual drain lets the operator bleed accumulated water at the start of a shift.
Start with the port and size: the 200 size steps up to 1/4 in NPT here, and larger sizes (300/400/600) carry more flow at larger ports - match the step to your line's air demand. Then pick the drain: manual (this unit) means someone opens the bowl drain during checks; automatic and differential-pressure drains handle condensate without that touch time. Filter grade is 40 um standard; choose the 5 um W option if downstream equipment needs finer protection. Gauge style and scale (square embedded or round external; MPa, psi or bar) and the thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are also real choices, as is the reverse valve for hold-up of the downstream setting. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and check the sizing for your application on request.
It means condensate collected in the bowl is released by opening the drain fitting by hand during routine checks, instead of draining automatically. If you want unattended drainage, the same GFR200 size is available with an automatic or differential-pressure drain - just ask for that variant.
