GFR200C06MLJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8

The AirTAC GFR200C06MLJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR200C06MLJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8

The GFR200C06MLJC1WT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 200 unit has a 1/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a metal bowl with manual drain, and a low-pressure regulator fitted with a round MPa gauge. Manual drain means the bowl is emptied by hand, which suits installations that are checked as part of a routine.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, plus a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filter elements, and square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR200G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range.
C0Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR200C06MLJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 Is Used

valve

Low-pressure clamping circuits

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air to pneumatic clamps and swing cylinders on a machining fixture, where the setpoint sits below the standard regulator range and the 5 um element helps protect valve seats.

science

Instrument air on process skids

A round-gauge, low-pressure supply to gauges, transmitters and small actuators on a pilot or process skid, with a manual-drain bowl for a skid that is checked at the start of each shift.

factory

Packaging machine air prep

Clean, regulated air to sealing bars and vacuum cups on a packaging line, with the metal bowl drained by hand during changeover and the MPa gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.

Is the GFR200C06MLJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 the Right Unit?

The real choices in this family are the size and port step (200/300/400/600, 1/8 in to 1 in) matched to the air demand of the circuit; the drain type (differential-pressure as standard, automatic for unattended duty, manual where bowls are emptied on a schedule); the filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W for finer protection); the gauge (embedded square as standard, external round optional, in MPa, psi or bar); and the thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order). Brackets are optional on GFR, and this unit is supplied without one. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your air demand and line pressure and we will confirm the right size against the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR200C06MLJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number on the page. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow curve and datasheet figures for this exact model on request.

This unit has a manual drain: the metal bowl is emptied by hand, which suits installations checked on a routine. The GFR family is also available with automatic or differential-pressure drains - ask us for the equivalent code if you prefer unattended draining.
