The AirTAC GFR200C08C2K AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08C2K is a size-200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has a PT1/4 (1/4 in) port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, a built-in reverse/check valve, and the mounting bracket included. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and a working temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, optional 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT threads, and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the tool-change and clamping circuits of a CNC machining centre, where the 40 um element protects valves from swarf-laden, wet compressed air and the psi gauge lets setters verify setpoint at the machine.
Conditioning the air feeding seal jaws and bag-clamp cylinders on a vertical form-fill-seal packaging line, with the check valve holding the downstream circuit against backflow when the main supply is interrupted.
Serving as the filter-regulator stage ahead of directional valves and air cylinders on a rotary indexing assembly station, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate off the valve seats without a scheduled manual drain round.
Start with the port and size: this unit is size 200 with a PT1/4 port, the smallest step in the GFR range; step up to GFR300/400/600 for larger ports and higher air demand. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit, hands-off under varying load), automatic (A) for continuous condensate removal, or manual (M) where you drain on a schedule. The standard element is 40 um; specify 5 um (W) if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauges are offered as the embedded square type or an external round gauge (this unit: round, psi scale) with MPa, psi or bar scales; PT thread is standard with G and NPT available as order options, and the bracket is included. Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as characteristic curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated l/min or SCFM number. Tell us your inlet pressure and the flow your application needs and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted: air can flow out of the unit but cannot flow back through it, which holds pressure in the downstream circuit if the upstream supply drops. This unit also carries a round psi gauge (code C2), the standard 40 um element, a differential-pressure drain, and the mounting bracket.
