GFR200C08F3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4

The AirTAC GFR200C08F3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR200C08F3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4

The GFR200C08F3TK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in one compact body. This size 200 unit has a 1/4 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, a differential-pressure drain, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, a reverse/check valve fitted, and a mounting bracket included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with this differential-pressure drain. The bowl on this size is polycarbonate.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options include a 5 um element (code W), automatic or manual drains, G or NPT threads, gauge scales in MPa or psi, and an external round gauge. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

C0Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.

(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR200C08F3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Is Used

precision_manufacturing

Pneumatic clamping on assembly fixtures

Filtered, regulated air keeps clamp cylinders on a machining or assembly fixture closing at a consistent setpoint, with the fitted check valve holding the circuit if upstream supply dips.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line actuator supply

A filter regulator at the drop feeding a packaging conveyor's diverters and seal cylinders keeps water and debris out of directional valves while holding steady actuation pressure.

science

Lab automation air supply point

Benchtop lab and test equipment with air-driven grippers or cylinders needs clean, dry, regulated air at the panel; the 40 um element and bar-scaled square gauge suit a compact supply point.

Is the GFR200C08F3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 the Right Unit?

Choose the size by port and demand: size 200 carries the 1/4 in port here, while 300, 400 and 600 step up to 3/8 through 1 in for higher air consumption. Drain choice matters: differential-pressure (this unit) drains as pressure drop builds, automatic drains continuously, and manual drains only when opened - and with a manual drain the regulation range widens to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), while differential-pressure or automatic drain gives 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W; gauge scale is MPa, psi or bar; thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options; and a bracket is included unless code J removes it. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR200C08F3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this unit on request.

This unit has a differential-pressure drain, and with that drain (or an automatic one) the regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Choosing a manual drain instead widens the adjustment range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
