The AirTAC GFR200C08JC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08JC2TK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 200 unit is fitted with 1/4 in NPT ports, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. The round gauge on this configuration reads in psi, and a reverse/check valve is fitted. No mounting bracket is included with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR series, which spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in and PT, G or NPT threads. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulation range with differential-pressure drain is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 200 the bowl is polycarbonate. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supply clean, regulated air to the clamping and fixture cylinders on a CNC machining cell, with the 40 um element keeping swarf-carrying condensate out of the clamp circuit and the psi gauge letting the setter read set pressure directly.
Feed the pick-and-place and divert cylinders on a packaging conveyor with filtered, regulated air, using the differential-pressure drain to clear accumulated water without stopping the line and the check valve to hold downstream pressure.
Condition the air feeding spray guns in a small paint booth: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale that would otherwise blemish the finish, while the regulator holds a steady gun pressure read off the psi gauge.
Size 200 with 1/4 in NPT ports is the right choice when your line flow and connection size sit at the small end of the GFR range; step up to 300, 400 or 600 for larger ports and more flow. Drain type is a real decision: differential-pressure (this unit) drains on pressure differential, automatic (code A) drains continuously, and manual (code M) drains by hand. The 40 um element is standard; specify W for the 5 um grade if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauge scale can be MPa, psi or bar, and thread can be ordered as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT. Brackets are optional on this family. Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as characteristic curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curve figures for this exact unit before you order.
This code carries no drain letter, so it uses the differential-pressure drain: condensate is discharged automatically when the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises, with no operator action. Choose code A (automatic) if you want continuous draining regardless of differential, or code M (manual) if you prefer to drain the bowl by hand on a schedule. Note that the regulation range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic or differential-pressure drain, and 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual drain.
