The AirTAC GFR200C08JF2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Square Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08JF2T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation combined in a single body. This 200-size unit is threaded NPT1/4 (1/4 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element and a differential-pressure drain that discharges condensate automatically as the pressure drop across the element builds. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, read on the embedded square gauge scaled in psi. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), working temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), the bowl on this 200 size is polycarbonate, and the J suffix means the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a 5 um element (code W), an automatic or manual drain, G (BSPP) or NPT thread in place of the PT standard, alternative gauge scales, and with or without a bracket. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet details for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to a plasma torch: the 40 um element strips water and scale that cause erratic arc starting, while the regulator holds the set pressure steady at the torch.
Supplying the cylinder and valve bank of a carton-forming or filling machine, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the valves between shift changes.
Regulating clamp pressure on a machining-cell fixture circuit: the square psi gauge lets the setter read and lock the clamping pressure directly in the units the print calls out.
The real choices within GFR are the size and port step (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 in), set against the air consumption of the circuit; the drain type (differential-pressure as here, automatic, or manual for infrequently attended points); the filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um where finer protection is needed); the gauge and its scale (MPa, psi or bar); and the thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order). Bracket and reverse/check-valve options complete the code. Because rated flow for this series is published only as curves, not a single number, send us your application conditions and we will confirm the correct size before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
This configuration has a differential-pressure drain, which discharges condensate automatically when the pressure drop across the 40 um element builds up. The same 200-size body can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M); with a manual drain the regulator adjustment range widens to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
