The AirTAC GFR200C08MC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MC2G is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This configuration is sized for a G1/4 (1/4 in) port with G thread, uses the standard 40 um filter element, and is fitted with a manual drain, so condensate is released by opening the drain by hand as part of routine maintenance. A round gauge reading in psi is included, the regulator is the standard (non low-pressure) type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in up to 1 in, and is orderable with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um (code W) element, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a finishing line, this unit cleans water and particles from the compressed air feeding spray guns and holds a steady regulated pressure so operators get consistent atomisation at the booth.
Feeding carton sealers and case packers, the filter-regulator removes condensate and debris from the shop air and sets a fixed pressure to the cylinders and grippers that drive the conveyor-mounted tooling.
At the air inlet of a robotic workcell with pneumatic clamps and end-of-arm tooling, this unit filters the supply, regulates it to the pressure the actuators were designed for, and shows line pressure on the psi gauge.
Start with the port step: this unit is the 200 size with a G1/4 (1/4 in) G-thread connection; step up to GFR300/400/600 if the line needs a larger port. Choose the drain to match maintenance practice - manual (this unit) means an operator opens the drain periodically, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without that manual step. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W option for 5 um filtration where downstream equipment needs finer particle removal. Gauges are available embedded-square or external-round with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is G (BSPP) here; PT is the standard and G/NPT are order options. A bracket is included on this configuration. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Send us your line pressure, port size and downstream demand and we will confirm the flow curve and correct sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by hand during routine checks. AirTAC also offers automatic and differential-pressure drains on GFR units, which discharge condensate without that manual step - useful where the unit is mounted in a hard-to-reach position or on a line that runs unattended.
