The AirTAC GFR200C08MC2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MC2WGK is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is a G1/4 (BSPP) 1/4 in port unit with a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the bowl, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a built-in check valve that blocks reverse flow through the unit. Regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included and the bowl is metal.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, PT, G or NPT thread, and standard or low-pressure regulator types. Flow for this unit is published as a curve rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to paint spray guns: the 5 um element keeps water and particulate out of the finish while the regulator holds a steady gun pressure; the manual drain is bled at shift start.
Regulated air to pneumatic clamps on machining fixtures; the built-in check valve blocks reverse flow through the unit and the psi gauge gives operators a pressure reading at the machine.
Clean, regulated air for carton-sealing and case-packing cylinders on a packaging conveyor; the filter-regulator sits at the line drop with the manual drain serviced during changeover.
Start with size: 200 is the smallest GFR frame, so match the 1/4 in port and the published flow curve to your air demand; stepping up to 300, 400 or 600 buys more flow at a larger port. Drain: this unit is manual drain (code M), so someone opens the drain periodically; automatic (A) or differential-pressure (default) drains are available if the unit is out of reach. Filtration: 5 um here (code W) versus the 40 um standard - choose 5 um for finer protection of downstream equipment. Gauge: this one is a round gauge reading in psi; an embedded square gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales is the alternative. Thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is G. A mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application conditions and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR200 as a curve, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your line pressure, downstream air demand and acceptable pressure drop, and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
This unit carries the M code, so the bowl has a manual drain: open it periodically to discharge collected water and contaminants. If the unit is mounted out of reach or the line runs unattended, order the automatic-drain (A) version or the differential-pressure default instead - the 5 um filter grade (W) and everything else in the code stays the same.
