Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a workholding clamping circuit, this unit cleans the supply air to 5 um and holds a set clamping pressure at the cylinder, with the psi gauge giving the operator a direct reading at the station.
Fitted on the air drop feeding a cartoning or wrapping line, it filters water and debris before the valves and sets a stable operating pressure for the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders.
At a bench or analyser air take-off, the 5 um element protects sensitive pneumatic components from particulate and condensed water while the regulator dials in the low, stable pressure the instrument needs.
Start with the port: this unit is 1/4 in NPT, so match it to your line size and step up to a larger GFR size if your air demand outgrows it. You have already chosen the finer 5 um element over the standard 40 um grade - keep 40 um in mind where only coarse protection is needed. Drain type matters: manual drain needs an operator to bleed the bowl, while automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended installations. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue options. PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT are ordered as options - this unit is the NPT version. A bracket is included; J-coded variants omit it.
