The AirTAC GFR200C08MC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MC2WTK is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in one compact body. This configuration is built for a 1/4 in NPT port, carries the finer 5 um filter element, drains collected condensate by hand via its manual drain, and reads outlet pressure on a round psi gauge. A reverse/check valve is fitted and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) on this manual-drain version, and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The size 200 bowl is polycarbonate.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options across drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge styles and scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and check valves. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps and vises on a machining centre, holding a steady clamp pressure while the 5 um element protects the clamp cylinder from fine particles and condensed water.
Feeding diverters, pushers and stop cylinders on a packaging conveyor, where the regulator keeps actuation behaviour consistent shift to shift and the manual drain is emptied during scheduled line cleaning.
Point-of-use conditioning for sample-handling manifolds and small pneumatic actuators on laboratory automation, where the fitted check valve holds the setpoint against backflow and the round psi gauge gives a local reading.
Start with the port: this unit is 1/4 in NPT, one step in the 200/300/400/600 size ladder where larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow - match the size to your line's air demand. This version already fixes several choices: a 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard, a manual drain instead of differential-pressure or automatic, a round psi gauge, and a fitted check valve. If you would rather drain automatically, read in MPa or bar, or keep the standard 40 um element, those variants exist in the same series. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) is also a catalogue option to order. A mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The W code selects the finer 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard, which suits downstream equipment sensitive to fine particles. The M code selects a manual drain: you drain the bowl by hand during maintenance, unlike the differential-pressure or automatic drain options. On this manual-drain version the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
