The AirTAC GFR200C08MF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08MF2 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in one compact body. This size 200 unit has a PT1/4 port, a 40 um filter element, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, and a standard regulator adjustable from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). An embedded square gauge reading in psi is fitted, a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scale in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to the clamping cylinders and fixtures on a CNC milling cell, holding a steady setpoint so clamping force stays consistent part after part.
Clean, moisture-reduced air at a fixed pressure for the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a carton packaging line, with the manual drain emptied at shift checks.
Regulated, particulate-free air to paint spray guns in a body-shop booth, protecting the gun and the finish from water and debris carried in the shop air line.
Choose the size and port by the flow your line needs: 200 is the compact step with a 1/4 in PT port, while sizes 300, 400 and 600 carry more flow at larger ports. Drain type matters: this unit has a manual drain you empty by hand, and automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended installations. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify W for 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer air. Gauge scale (here psi) and thread (PT standard; G and NPT are order options) are decodable from the code, and a bracket is included.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than one rated figure, we do not quote a single flow number. Send us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet before you order.
This unit has a manual drain: open it by hand to empty collected water, which suits lines checked daily. If the unit sits where nobody drains it regularly, the automatic (A) or differential-pressure version of the same size is the better choice.
