The AirTAC GFR200C08MJC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in G Thread is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MJC2G is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This 200-size unit is threaded G 1/4 in, carries the standard 40 um filter element, and has a manual drain, so the bowl is bled by hand as part of routine maintenance. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range, a round external gauge reading in psi is fitted, no reverse/check valve is fitted, and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with matching port sizes, and each size can be ordered with a different drain (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), a 5 um element (code W), gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and PT, G or NPT thread. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to the pneumatic clamps and swing cylinders on a machining centre fixture, with the psi gauge letting the setter read set pressure directly at the machine.
Conditions the supply to sorting and divertor air cylinders on a packaging conveyor line, keeping moisture and pipe scale out of the valves while holding a steady working pressure.
Sits at the drop of an end-of-line carton sealer, filtering the shop air and regulating pressure to the tape-head and hold-down cylinders, with manual drain bled at shift checks.
Start with the port: this unit is G 1/4 in, so it suits lines plumbed at 1/4 in; step up to GFR300/400/600 if your flow demand points at a larger port. Choose the drain to match maintenance habits: manual (as here) means periodic hand bleeding, automatic drains condensate continuously, and differential-pressure drains only when the element loads up. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify 5 um (code W) where finer particulate control matters. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar) and this configuration carries the round external gauge reading psi. Thread is G (BSPP) on this unit; PT and NPT are order options, and a mounting bracket can be added where J-coded units omit it. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code means the bowl is drained by hand, which suits stations visited during routine checks. The same 200 size can be ordered with an automatic drain or a differential-pressure drain instead, and the manual-drain version carries the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range.
