The AirTAC GFR200C08MJF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4 40um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MJF2 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: a 1/4 in (PT1/4) unit that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a manual drain, a 40 um standard filter element, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a standard regulator with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size 200 bowl is polycarbonate. No mounting bracket and no reverse/check valve are fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with a choice of drain type, 5 um (code W) or 40 um filtration, gauge scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the shop-air feed that powers tool-clamp and pallet-actuation cylinders on a CNC machining centre, with the psi gauge giving operators a local pressure readout at the machine.
Conditioning the air that drives pick-and-place and gate cylinders along a packaging conveyor, where the manual drain lets maintenance purge accumulated water at the start of each shift.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to nutrunners and air cylinders at a bench assembly station, keeping moisture and debris in the supply line out of the downstream tools.
Size and port step up with demand: this is a size 200 unit with a PT1/4 port, while sizes 300, 400 and 600 carry larger ports for higher air consumption. Drain choices are differential-pressure (default), automatic (A) or manual (M - this unit). Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauges are embedded square with MPa, psi or bar scale (psi here), with an optional external round gauge. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the J code means no mounting bracket is fitted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the sizing and flow data from the datasheet on request.
M is the manual drain: you open it by hand to purge collected water, instead of relying on an automatic or differential-pressure drain. F2 is the embedded square gauge with a psi scale; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is optional.
