The AirTAC GFR200C08MJNWTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08MJNWTK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in one body. This configuration is the 200 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a metal bowl with a manual drain, and a reverse (check) valve fitted. No gauge is supplied and no mounting bracket is included; the regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) and a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options across the range for automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge choices, bracket or no-bracket mounting, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to fixture and clamp cylinders on a CNC machining cell. The 5 um element helps keep contaminants out of valve and seal surfaces, and the fitted check valve blocks backflow from the downstream side.
Supplying clean, regulated air to the cylinders and air-operated gates on a carton-forming or wrapping line, where a stable setpoint keeps pick-and-place and ejector strokes consistent through the shift.
Conditioning the air feed to solenoid-valve manifolds and actuated process valves, where water and particulate in the supply line are a common cause of sticking spools and shortened seal life.
The real choices on this family are the size and port step, the drain type, the filter grade, the gauge and the thread. This code fixes them at: 200 size, 1/4 in NPT port, manual drain, 5 um element, no gauge, no bracket, check valve fitted. Choose the 5 um element where downstream equipment needs finer filtration than the 40 um standard; note that a manual drain must be opened periodically to discharge collected water, while automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other codes. On thread, PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) or NPT are ordered options - this unit is the NPT version. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your pressure and flow requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number on the page. Tell us your working pressure and required flow and we will confirm from the datasheet whether the 200 size with the 1/4 in port suits your application before you order.
M is the manual-drain option: collected water is discharged by opening the drain periodically as part of routine checks. If you would rather not do this, the GFR family is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (blank) on other codes - we can identify the matching variant for you.
