The AirTAC GFR200C08MLC1WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08MLC1WTK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and reduces supply pressure to a working setpoint in a single body. This size 200 unit has a 1/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W, finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the metal bowl, a low-pressure regulator, a round MPa pressure gauge and a built-in check valve, with the mounting bracket included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and a choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard, G and NPT to order) and bracket options. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the supply to a CNC machining centre's pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders: the 5 um element strips water and fine particulate before directional valves, the low-pressure regulator suits circuits that call for reduced setpoints, and the check valve is fitted at the unit.
Filtering and regulating air to carton sealers and case-erector cylinders along a packaging conveyor. The manual drain suits a scheduled end-of-shift water blowdown, and the round MPa gauge lets line staff read the setpoint at a glance.
Preparing compressed air for lab analysers and test rigs that need clean, reduced-pressure supply: the 5 um element protects sensitive pneumatic components, and the compact size 200 body with bracket mounts neatly beside the bench setup.
Size and port step up with flow demand: this unit is size 200 with a 1/4 in NPT port, while sizes 300, 400 and 600 carry larger ports and more flow. Filter grade is a real choice: 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) as fitted here for finer protection of downstream components. Drain is manual on this unit, so collected water is discharged by opening the drain periodically; automatic and differential-pressure drain versions exist in the family. On gauges, an embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge is optional in MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries the round gauge with an MPa scale. Thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The metal bowl has a manual drain: open it periodically to discharge collected water, ideally as part of a scheduled maintenance check. If you would rather not do this by hand, automatic and differential-pressure drain options exist in the GFR family - ask us to quote the equivalent code.
