The AirTAC GFR200C08MLC2W AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MLC2W is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 200 unit has a PT1/4 (1/4 in) port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain, a metal bowl, and a round gauge reading in psi. It is the low-pressure type, intended for circuits that run at reduced pressure, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options for automatic or differential-pressure drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT threads, and bracket choices. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm flow and other datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds the capping heads' air cylinders with filtered, regulated air at reduced pressure; the 5 um element helps keep water and particles out of the valves, and the manual drain suits a line that is checked every shift.
Supplies reduced-pressure air to spray guns at a finishing bench, with 5 um filtration helping keep moisture and debris out of the finish; the psi gauge gives direct readout at the gun panel.
Regulates supply to stopper and pusher cylinders along a sortation line; the low-pressure type is intended for circuits running at reduced pressure, and the included bracket simplifies mounting beside the conveyor frame.
Start with size and port: 200 is the smallest GFR frame and this unit carries a 1/4 in PT port, so match it against the air demand of the circuit - the larger sizes (300/400/600) use larger ports for higher demand. Choose the drain to suit access: this unit is manual drain, so someone opens the drain periodically; automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available for unattended installations. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer of the two published grades (40 um is standard) - pick it where downstream devices are sensitive to fine particles. The round gauge here reads psi; embedded square gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales are alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the mounting bracket is included. Because rated flow is published only as curves, not a single figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
This unit's code specifies a manual drain: accumulated condensate is released by opening the drain at the bottom of the bowl. Choose it where the unit is inspected regularly; for unattended installations, automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same filter regulator are available.
